2019 Jeep M-715 Five-Quarter - Drive, Interior and Exterior Continuing the tradition of Easter Safari Jeep "Resto-Mods" comes the Jeep M-715 Five-Quarter which is a perfect blend of vintage and modern components. The term "Five Quarter" is a historical nod to past Jeep trucks that are one per one ton or "five quarters." Starting with the 1968 M-715, this Gladiator-based military vehicle was envisioned again with a design and functional improvement on the chassis, drivetrain and cargo configuration, resulting in a truly capable exhibition. On the exterior, the original front sheet metal is removed and the full carbon fiber front end replaces it. Also, a specially made 6-foot aluminum bed, specially made bobbed that has been perforated and imaged back using a mixture of pieces of water jet cuttings and wooden slats. Additional body modifications include a 3.5-inch decrease to the soft-top convertible, further enhancing the silhouette of the factory monster truck. The headlamps have been replaced with new HID lights along with LED auxiliary lights for broad outside visibility. Rear, LED halo lights have been installed on the original taillights bucket. To protect the body, the original rocker was removed and replaced with a functional rock rail that stretched along the side of the body. The Five-Quarter M-715 off-road capability has been enhanced by strengthening the original skeleton and replacing leaf springs with a heavy duty suspension link / coil system. In addition, the front axle has been pulled two inches forward and replaced with the Dynatrac Pro-rock 60 front axle and the Dynatrac Pro-rock 80 axle in the rear, while the 20-inch beadlock wheels are wrapped with 40-inch large tires. Inside, the new Jeep Wrangler seat, free of headrests, has been installed for slim and low-back visuals. In addition, water-jetted aluminum components form lightweight and premium instrument panels, as well as door panels. The vintage 8-71 supercharger that has been updated now serves to wrap the transmitters and transmit transfers and the floors have been coated with beds to increase durability.
